Welcome to this week’s pastor’s corner taken from the book of Proverbs 2:7 which says “He hides away sound and godly Wisdom and stores it for the righteous; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly and in integrity.”
Beloved, In order for us to obtain sound and godly wisdom, we are encouraged to search for it. God is not hiding anything from us- He has put everything we need to know inside of the book, called the Bible. God will not force us to receive His knowledge and wisdom, it is always our choice but God’s encourages us in Proverbs 7… keep my words, And treasure my commands within you. 2 Keep my commands and live, And my law as the apple of your eye. 3 Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” And call understanding your nearest kin. When we “set our hearts” to seek after God, seeking His way of doing things, seeking HIS counsel for our lives then we will always find the hidden treasure and knowledge of HIM. God is a protector to those who walk uprightly. We can stay protected under the canopy of God when we walk in integrity and love, fulfilling the commandments. But when we walk in disobedience, when we walk in sin we remove ourselves from God’s protection.
It is therefore our prayer that you will continue to seek godly wisdom and receive the grace to walk uprightly and in integrity before men and before Jehovah Almighty.
Until next week, Calvary Blessings upon you!
