Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome to this week pastor’s corner taken from the book of Ecclesiastes 5:12…’The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the abundance of the rich will not permit him to sleep’
When you labor and work hard for what you have, it is more fulfilling than that which is easily received. Sleep is easily brought on when you lie down because you have toiled, and sound sleep you have. Psalm 127:2 says It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
But the rich, by either the abundance of food which he eats makes him restless, so that he can get no sleep, or what he does get is very uncomfortable; or the wealth of his riches fills him with worries- what he shall do with them, and how to keep and increase them, that he cannot sleep quietly.
It is therefore our prayer that as we all continue to labor in every area of our lives in seeking to achieve success and abundance, that you will not be robbed of any good sleep in Jesus name. Until next week, Calvary Blessings upon you!
