Welcome to the first Pastor’s Corner for 2016, which comes from the book of Proverbs 3:5-6 which reads ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.’
Beloved, maybe you didn’t receive everything you were hoping for last year; the dream, the desire you had for one thing or the other did not manifest itself in your life. I want to encourage you that this year you can start again, with FAITH! This time you must place your complete confidence in the LORD- the bible says in Hebrews 11:6 ‘But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.’
What is it that you are seeking for this year- Is it a house, a new job, a spouse or maybe even healing? When you place your trust in HIM, and acknowledge HIM he shall direct your path. He will lead you to the right place, he will guide you to right person .
It is therefore our prayer this new year, that as you trust in God and lift up your faith, HE will grant you your heart’s desire, in Jesus name. Until we meet again next week, Calvary blessings upon you!
