Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome to this week pastor’s corner taken from the book of  Proverbs 30:5 which says, “Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.”

Beloved, all scripture is given by inspiration of God. The entire scripture is pure, and free from  error; coming from the God of truth, who cannot lie, and therefore called “the Scriptures of truth”.

Every promise in the word of God is made without dissimulation and will be faithfully performed.  Men have tried to dissect the bible or rely on scientific information to dispute the word of God but every doctrine is pure— the bible advises us in I Peter 2:2 “… to crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation”; not the watered down version, not someone’s interpretation of what the bible is saying.

When we put our trust in God, whose the word is, He will be a shield to protect us by his power and grace, from all enemies, sin, and  Satan himself.  Psalm 3:3 tells us “But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” May your head stay lifted up, in Jesus name.
