Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome to this week    pastor’s corner taken from the book of  PROVERBS 6:32-33, which  says, ” Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; He who does so destroys his own soul. Wounds and dishonor he will get, and his reproach will not be wiped away”.

Beloved, even though we know all sin seems to be equal in the eyes of God,  we can clearly see in this verses that the penalty and repercussions of committing adultery is very severe. It is a sin that destroys the soul. We are told in I CORINTHIANS.6:18– “To flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does  is outside the body, but he who  commits sexual immorality sins against his own body”. It is a sin that could leave you wounded, dishonored and may bring reproach that cannot be wiped away. The danger of it could be something beyond our physical realms as well, for PROVERBS 7:23 says, ” till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, he did not know it would cost his life”. There are many who have gone down this way and wished they had listened to instruction, but now it is too late for them. As for you, may it never be too late.

It is my prayer therefore that God gives you the grace to repent and escape from destruction, for why should you die o’ man, turn that you may live!…Until we meet again next week, remain the apple of Gods  eye, steadfast in your ways and be blessed, in Jesus name.
