Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and welcome to this week pastors’ corner taken from the book of ECCLESIASTES 7:9 which says, “Do not be eager in your heart to be angry, For anger resides in the bosom of fools. “
Beloved, no doubt as children of God there will be events and times of difficulty that warrant one to become angry and in doing so you allow anger to dwell and take residence in your heart/bosom. The word of God warns us in James 1:19-20 “be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.” When you allow anger to fester, it is easy to get into ones heart but difficult to get out and this is also an avenue that may lead to sin. The bible advises us in EPHESIANS 4:26 “Be angry and do not sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your anger—which means, you will get angry, but don’t let your anger cause you to sin, therefore hindering your righteousness before the Lord”; and make amends with your brethren before the sun goes down.
Therefore we encourage you today, when faced with adversity that may bring about anger that you will learn to Let go, and Let God for the bible says vengeance is of the Lord, and He will repay accordingly.
Until we meet again next week God bless you and keep you in perfect peace!!
