Welcome to this week pastors corner taken from the book of Proverbs 23:17-18   Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long.  For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

Believers, God has a plan for your life. It may not seem like it now but he is working behind the scenes on your behalf. When we begin to look at what others may have and compare ourselves to them, we will find that we may not measure up… but He says in Jeremiah 29:11 ‘I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not harm you, but to bring you to an expected end.’ When we fear the Lord, which is accompanied by our faith and trust in Him, it will keep us from envy, and murmuring about what others may have- has He not said it, and will He not bring it to pass.

Just as there shall be an end to the prosperity of the wicked, there will also be an end to your suffering, your lack, your affliction- whatever it is that has been holding you back. The bible warns the enemy, Rejoice not over me while I am down, for I shall rise.  Whatever you are believing God for shall not be cut off, but it shall come to pass, in Jesus name.

Therefore, it is our prayer that you will stop wasting time looking at others and what they have, and begin to lift up your eyes to the hills from where your help comes from and watch Him work it out in your favor.  Until next week, Calvary blessings upon you.
