Friday Night Service – “There Is Money To Be Made In Strange Places” – Prophet Kenneth Okojie

  • Base Scripture: “Surely there is a mine for silver,
    And a place where gold is refined.
    2 Iron is taken from the earth,
    And copper is smelted from ore.
    3 Man puts an end to darkness,
    And searches every recess
    For ore in the darkness and the shadow of death.
    4 He breaks open a shaft away from people;
    In places forgotten by feet
    They hang far away from men;
    They swing to and fro.
    5 As for the earth, from it comes bread,
    But underneath it is turned up as by fire;
    6 Its stones are the source of sapphires,
    And it contains gold dust.
    7 That path no bird knows,
    Nor has the falcon’s eye seen it.
    8 The proud lions[a] have not trodden it,
    Nor has the fierce lion passed over it.
    9 He puts his hand on the flint;
    He overturns the mountains at the roots.
    10 He cuts out channels in the rocks,
    And his eye sees every precious thing.
    11 He dams up the streams from trickling;
    What is hidden he brings forth to light.” – Job 28:1-11

    • It is given that there are children born, destined to become millionaires.
      • God does not look at any obstacles placed in the way of this destiny.
  • Never let anyone tell you that God doesn’t believe in prosperity because the Bible says that God delights in the prosperity of His people.
  • Whenever God encounters man, the first thing He mentions is blessing; when He called Abraham out of his father’s house, God said He will bless him.
  • The blessings of God encompasses all things including money, wealth.
    • All the years Abraham walked with God, God never disappointed him; God blessed him in all things.
      • This goes to say that there is an “all blessing” in God and He is looking for someone to give that blessing to, and that blessing will go from generation to generation.
  • God blessed Abraham in all things and there was no controversy in the promises of God concerning Abraham.
    •  Abraham was paid in full by God.
    • Abraham departed the earth knowing that God is faithful to His word; whatever He says, He will accomplish.
  • When Abraham got to the land of Canaan, God told him that was the land for him.  Abraham erected an altar to remind God of His promises.
    • There came a famine in the land of promise causing Abraham to journey to Egypt.
    • When he got to Egypt, blessed him there as well.
    • No one could doubt the authenticity of God’s hand and blessings over Abraham.
  • Just as God blessed Abraham in a strange land, God will bless you wherever you are!
  • Please do not try to figure God out, that will cause you to put God in a box.
  • The word of promise to Abraham did not operate only in Canaan.
    • The Bible says that the earth is the Lord’s the fullness and everything that dwells in it.
  • Job 28:1 says “Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place where gold is refined.”
    • The Bible says in Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
      • When we pray, it allows God to speak to you and show you where there is hidden wealth.
        • There comes a time when we must let the prayer move you.
          • May your eyes be open to see the doors open to you.
  • The greatest wealth is placed where no man has been able to reach.  May you discover your wealth in Jesus name.
  • You have to get into a place where the ideas have not been discovered; stop trying to jump on the things that people have already saturated.
  • God wants to move you from the place of mediocrity to a place of excellence and prosperity.
    • The Bible never said that prosperity was for the unbelievers only.
  • Isaiah 60:11 “Therefore your gates shall be open continually; They shall not be shut day or night, That men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles, And their kings in procession.”
    • If the Gentiles are prospering, it is because of you, the righteous.  If God opens a channel of blessing for you, receive it and enjoy it.  The Lord will open up doors for you in strange places.
  • Job 28: 5 “As for the earth, from it comes bread, But underneath it is turned up as by fire;”
    • You have to dig where others do not dig, you have to believe that God is willing to give you wealth in strange places.
    • You have to see what is below the surface of the earth and dig deep.
  • Isaiah 45:3 “I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.”
    • Look at the fidget spinner, someone can up with an idea that has made them a millionaire; something that doesn’t look like much or doesn’t make sense has brought millions to the person.
    • A long time ago, when I was younger and cellphones were just coming out.  I was in Holland and I had a dream of people strapping on their arms while jogging.  I drew up the plans and told my friend about it but went partying and forgot about it.  A few months later, I came to America and saw people jogging with their cells phones strapped to their arms.  God had given me a dream to make me a millionaire and I never did anything to bring that dream to manifestation.
  • 4 things to discover something to do:
    • Inquire of God to tell you.
      • Ask God to show you what to do to become rich and blessed; ask God to show you the treasures in hidden places and then give them to you.
      • Do not try to do what others are doing, God has new ideas to give.
      • In Luke 5:5, Jesus told Peter to cast down his net right at the shore; when Peter obeyed and took a great catch of fish.  If you are doing one thing and it is not working, it is time to close that door and let God open a door for you.
    • Discover the pathway that can bring you to a place of wealth.
      • The pathway of discovery for Peter was the sea.
      • You do not have to toil where everybody toils.
      • Ask the Lord to take you to the pathway where there will be abundance for you.
        • Psalm 65:11 says that the Lord has crowned the year with His goodness and His paths drip with abundance.
        • Psalm 133:3 says there the Lord commanded His blessings.  A place called “There” is a place God has ordained for His children.
        • Isaiah 35:8 speaks of the Highway of Holiness where no demon or lion is there to oppose you, what God puts in your hand is not wrestled out of your hand.
        • If you are on the wrong pathway, ask God here the right pathway for you is.
        • Jesus gave Peter direction when He told Peter to go cast his hook and get money from the mouth of the fish.
    • You must learn to cross over.
      • If you are in a place that is not causing you to prosper, you have to move.
      • Parents, do not force the failures of your destiny upon your children.
      • Let the destiny God ordained for your children come to pass.
      • Deut 12:9-10 “for as yet you have not come to the rest and the inheritance which the Lord your God is giving you. 10 But when you cross over the Jordan and dwell in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all your enemies round about, so that you dwell in safety, . . ..”
        • You have to be willing to leave where you are and move into something that will prosper you.
        • God ordains particular things for everyone; you have to inquire and obey what the Lord says.
      • You must learn to trust God.
        • Luke 5:5 – even though the disciples had worked hard all night, they trusted Jesus when He said they should cast their nets into the water.
          • You must also discover people that will help you push your dreams along.
          • You need a partner that will believe in your dream; the bible says that it is better for two to walk together.
        • Jeremiah 17:5-6 says that cursed is a man who trusts in man and not in God.
          • When you trust in man, you will not see when good comes.
          • There are many people that had trusted their friends only for their friends to steal their ideas, marriages and precious things from them.
        • There are some people that keep asking God for confirmation of what He says to us; King David said that once has He spoken and twice have I heard.
          • You may not hear God’s voice the second time, you must trust and obey.
